Dénia, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, is a very attractive place for all those who wish to enjoy pleasant horseback rides surrounded by nature, to get started in the world of horse riding or to practice some of its disciplines.
It is an ideal place for its enviable climate, with mild temperatures in winter and approximately 300 days of sunshine a year, and for its privileged natural scenery formed by the Montgó mountain, more than 17 km of coastline, the Cabo San Antonio Marine Reserve and a large expanse of agricultural landscape. Amateurs and sportsmen and women interested in international show jumping competitions have the possibility of enjoying them at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Centre, located 20 km from Dénia in the town of Oliva, where the Spring MET and Autumn MET competitions take place twice a year, with the participation of riders from all over the world.
